We are pleased to announce that Yoshihiro Kimura, Shelter CEO, was selected as one of Nikkei Architecture Magazine’s “Best 10 Architects 2023” and was published in the December 22, 2022 issue. He was highly evaluated for widely conveying the concept of inclusiveness in the construction of Shelter Inclusive Place Copal.
■ About Nikkei Architecture’s Best 10 Architects 2023
This is a special feature that introduces the people who had the most influence on the architectural world in the past year. The evaluation criteria for selection was whether or not it brought about “something” that would lead to the future of the architectural world. Several trend words in the architectural world that colored 2022 were selected, and the editors recommended candidates based on their activities from the end of 2021 to November 2022. The voting results of all editors were tallied and the top ones were selected as this year’s best 10 architects.
